In 2010 Pakistan experienced heavier than normal monsoon rains which resulted in devastating flooding which submerged one fifth of the country’s total land area.  It is estimated 20 million people were affected through destruction of property, livelihood and infrastructure. Drop4drop worked with Concern Worldwide to enable the provision of a sustainable regional water point. This was achieved by repairing and reconstructing water supply schemes and hand pumps which supplies thousands of litres of water. We also ensured 20 families have immediate access to safe, clean drinking water.
