Kindly donated during the DROP4DROP x ED SHEERAN campaign

We were warmly welcomed in the village and everyone was happy to witness the installation of a pump in the village. Everything went on well and people really appreciate what Wells for Zoё has done in the village and changing their lives. In the past water borne diseases were almost everywhere in the village but now they are sure that they have gone.

Villagers depend on farming and doing business since they are near a trading centre. Places are bare because people have cut down all trees for charcoal burning so they are requesting for tree seeds.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
