“Prior to the installation of this well, me and my school-going daughter go to neighbouring village by walking 2 kilometres away to bringing our domestic water. Really it is very difficult for us to get water in the hot summer. My daughter was absent several times to her school. Now I have no problem water scarcity in my house. My daughter is going to school regularly at correct time and she is able to study well. Many thanks to the donor of this well”.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
