“Many thanks to Benugo and Ministry of Justice for helping us with a sustainable water source. Now our community people are very happy with this well. I am glad to say that, now I am able to send my two daughters of age 7 and 9 years to their schools on right time and my husband is going to his business on right time because now I need not go distance by walk to 4KM for water every day early morning and I need not wake up too early for fetching water. Now this bore-well is very near to my home. I am also participating in the hygiene awareness programme along with my family members and learning good healthy habits from the health worker. Once again thanks to the donors.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
