“The Marion Mission went to help the people in the area but failed because the wells are too deep so their pump failed. They are very thankful to drop4drop because our pump is working perfectly despite the large depth of the wells. Most of the people in the village are poor. They grow a lot of tomatoes, onions and cabbages. But others have bought cars and built good houses through farming. The village has lots of people. There is no hospital in the village but they are lucky because the member of parliament for the area has bought them an ambulance to take them to the hospitals when are sick.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
