“We have water tank in our village and it has no water. The water use to be supplied once in a week or fortnight. So we used to suffer without the water availability. Most of the days we used to remain without food as the water for cooking could not be availed. So most of the domestic work could not be done and some times the children used to remain half fed. The vessels could not be cleaned and due to lack of water the house could not be cleaned and personnel hygiene could not be maintained. Now we are very happy as the water is adequate and we are able to make use for all purposes. We thank drop4drop for the support.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
