‘I am Mrs. Vijaya Santhi (28 Years) W/o Sathish Kumar of Vaniamallee SC Village, so happy to share few lines about the joy and happiness which we are having because of the new water project in our village. Especially our village president is a woman and she was also very much worried as we were not able to get the required water and we are very happy for the new water project provided. We are able to get lots of time for cooking and enabling our children to go in time. It is a real blessing to us and we feel up for the water facility. We pray for the wellbeing of our donors and also NEWS NGO for selecting our village. We are motivating our children to take bath regularly as unlike earlier the water availability was less and we were able to remain clean and maintain hygiene. Now we are very happy and thank to UNIVERSAL PICTURES THROUGH PURCHASES OF LIFE WATER, DROP4DROP, U.K. for Sponsoring a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Vaniamallee SC Village.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
