“When we heard that a tank was to be installed in our village, we were overjoyed. For many years we relied on the local tap, which never was enough for every family in the village. It was not sufficient for use for all the purposes. So we instead walk longer distances to collect water, which is not good for our businesses and our children’s schooling. But we thank you for the support for the MAD TASTY water program and we are able to avail the water we need. We shall find good health and our children will find good health. We can focus on our businesses and our children do not need to walk to avail water before their studies.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
