‘The pump installation was well done. Villagers were very happy upon our arrival in this community. People expressed their views that at first they use to draw water in open wells which were not safe to human health but as of now they are happy to have access to clean and safe water.

Villagers are farmers and they grow maize, soya beans and groundnuts for sale and as well as consumption. They have primary and secondary school but they are lacking a preschool.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
