“I am Ms. R.Ramya D/o Ravi of Mukarambakkam SC Village privilegd to thank and greet NEWS NGO, DROP4DROP, U.K. and VINCENT & LUKE BALZRINA, for sponsoring a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Mukarambakkam SC Village. I am really feel privileged as we were considered for this project. There are very few services minded people in our country to think of the needs of the poor people like us. We were under the impression that till our last breath we will remain in same condition. But the new project has developed new hopes in our lives and we feel that this new project shall bring changes in the health conditions of our children and people in our areas. We are able to spend more time for our casual labour work and we are able to cook without any tension. This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
