“Prior to the installation of the bore-well I have to spend about 4 to 5 hours per day to bring the water from the agriculture bore well by going walk to 3kms. So I was always delay to cook food, so the delay caused to my children to school. Now after installation of the hand pump bore well in our village, there is no delay in cooking food, in serving to my children and husband. Now my children are very happy as there are going to school in right time and my husband is going to work in time. The bore well water source is greatly helpful to my family. Many thanks for helping us all.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
