“Thank you for the generosity. There was one water source in the next village that provided clean water to our large population. We used to make long lines to get water and each household would only get about 20 litters before the borehole would dry up. I am glad to say that all our misery is history with this newly constructed water source. It will be able to sustain supply of water through out all periods and we can consume as much water without any limitation. Thanks for the kindness and generosity towards our community.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
