‘No more water borne diseases!Community members at the newly constructed water source. Residents of the area testify that construction of this water source has particularly contributed to saving them from waterborne diseases that used to be a chronic in the area. ‘‘There was no clean and safe water here. We have been fetching water from the dirty streams and ponds. As a result, there were always waterborne diseases mostly affecting our children. We had no
option,’’ said Charles one of the beneficiaries of the the water source.

Now with this constructed water source you see here, we are assured with clean and safe water. We would like to thank Last Night a Dj saved my life foundation and Drop 4 drop so ensuring that our community has access to clean safe water.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
