“We are happy to say that the new project is very useful to us and we are able to get more water and as per our need. Each and every member of our village are happy for the water facility provided to us. We had been depending on the open well and it was not healthy and it contained dust, mud and unwanted branches and cabbages. So we were very unhappy about the situation in our village. The tap water could not be availed and for water we had been taking lot of time to walk and to fetch the water. So this new facility is of great use for all of us. We are able to make use of the same and our daily living situation has considerably changed.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
