Kapinya village is located near Mzoma trading centre, this trading centre is big but it only has two boreholes which are always crowded with women from different villages. This made the villagers of Kapinya to build their own well, they called us afterwards to install them a pump. They are now happy and they thank Wells for Zoë for helping them. The roads going to the village are bad. The villagers are poor and they depend on small holder farming for their daily living.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
