“The installation was perfect. Men and women came to grace the installation occasion. Hoho is an area where water is very scarce and the wells are dug very deep. Some non-government organisation went to assist the people but failed. With our pump it is pumping well though some wells are very deep. People are poor and they are farmers. Trees are here and there but most of the areas are bare. They would like to plant more trees in this coming tree planting season if the seeds can be provided. Road networks are good to the area so no problems in movements.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
