“The pump installation was well done and people happily welcomed us in the village. According to the chief of this village, they have been drawing water from pond and streams previously. He is extremely happy to have the pump in this village. People have been suffering from water borne diseases each and every year before and as of now they are sure that these diseases will be no more. The village depend on farming for their daily living. Roads going to the village are very bad and movement is very difficult.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
