“The women from this village used to get the water only once in 2 days and the tap was used by all the people and used to stand in que and also used to avail very little from the tap and by that time the water would stop. This was a common tap and the availability for all was very less. So again the women used to walk long distances to fetch the water and most of the time
was spent in bringing the water to the home. The water sources were not safe and it was contaminated and thus the family members were suffering water borne diseases and now they are happy and are getting the required water for their use.”
