“People are very happy because at first they were quarrelling over who is going to clean the open well they had before. Open wells normally need to be cleaned each and every week because most of time frogs rear eggs. The people are very thankful to drop4drop because others have already received seeds and they are requesting for more because the first distribution was given to few people. Some challenges in the village is that women have more problems during the time for delivery because hospitals are far.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
