The Family Chretien-Desmarais - “Water for all and all for water”

“Many thanks to the sponsor of this well. Now all the people in our village are using the water from this newly installed bore-well, there is no scarcity like before. For us it does not take long time, it is just 5 minutes walk to this hand pump well in our village. The route is easy going. It is safe to all. We are taking care of this well in good manner. And we also received health training by the health worker, the health worker taught us that, timely soap hand washing is equal to life saving attitude. The people in our village picked motivation and following habit of soap hand wash daily, and our children are going to school.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
