“My Name is Madhuri residing at M.G. Nagar ST Village and it gives us great joy in sharing few lines of gratitude for all the services. Before this borewell was installed in our village, we relied on a water tap connected to pipelines. These pipes often cracked, leaked, and broke, resulting in very little water supply. It was a daily struggle for everyone. After the borewell installation in our village, our water problems have completely disappeared. Thanks to DROP4DROP, CHRIS and LORRAINE, we now have a reliable source of clean water available all the time. This clean water has greatly improved our health. We no longer suffer from illnesses and infections due to unclean water, yester years. With the health education sessions, we have learned to maintain good hygiene, which keeps our family healthier and stronger. Our children are healthier and can now go to school on time, which has helped them improve in their studies. Earlier the time we spent fetching for water now we are using for activities to earn our daily bread. We assure you to take good care of the borewell to ensure it lasts for many more years. We are deeply thankful to CHRIS, LORRAINE, JONNY – LNADJ and DROP4DROP, for their life-changing support to M.G. Nagar ST Villagers. This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
