“Water is life, it is useful for cooking, washing and irrigation. We also use it in our daily activities at home. Such a great offer for clean and safe water is a blessing to our community. Now we are truly grateful and honored for such an opportunity. Now our children can drink safe water, no worries of children drowning into ponds as well as this will help reduce contagious diseases such as cholera as well as diarrhea which comes along with the consumption of dirty water.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
