Hurricane Haiyan – Philippines

In early November 2013 hurricane Haiyan made landfall in Southeast Asia and devastated large areas of the Philippines in particular. The aftermath of the hurricane is still seriously affecting thousands of people having caused a reported $5.8billion worth of damage and claiming the lives of over 5600 people. drop4drop teamed up with Concern Worldwide’s currently ongoing emergency relief effort on Panay Island (Philippines). We are concentrating our efforts on water carriers to enable access to clean water to thousands who are currently lacking. In December 2013 we arranged thousands of jerry cans and eight giant 5000 litre inflatable bladder tanks which will provide thousands with clean water in the aftermath.
