DROP4DROP and FOUR foundation partnership
We are very excited to be able to announce that we are one of FOUR foundation’s chosen charities for 2015! FOUR foundation is the charitable foundation set up by FOUR magazine with the aim of using their global profile to fund, support and raise awareness of their chosen charities. FOUR magazine is the World’s Best Food and Lifestyle magazine and works the best food and drink writers to create the highest quality recipes and recommendations that their readers trust. Internationally renowned chefs that have graced their pages with recipes, techniques and recommendations include Thomas Keller, Heston Blumenthal, Yannick Alléno, Massimo Bottura and René Redzepi.
The FOUR Foundation aims to reflect this commitment of those who enjoy fine food, drink and lifestyle and are dedicated to giving back to communities in need of support. Currently 748 million people are living without access to safe clean drinking water but we at drop4drop and The FOUR Foundation want to change this.
Our new partnership will provide many more communities in India with clean, safe drinking water which will set the foundation for a better life for communities living without access to drinking water. We are honored to have been chosen alongside three worthy charities for 2015 which are War Child, the Environmental Justice Foundation and Hospitality Action.
The FOUR Foundation’s Ambassador and Michelin star chef Jason Atherton has offered his passion and dedication to all four charities. Born in Sheffield and having to work his way to the top, Jason now heads an impressive culinary empire with world renowned restaurants around the globe and TV appearances on Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen. We at drop4drop are very proud to be working with someone with Jason’s life experiences, passion and commitment to his craft and to helping others!
The Foundation will raise funds for projects in India through donations, events, and employee fundraising. We at drop4drop want to say a massive thanks to FOUR foundation and together we can work towards alleviating the world water crisis! We believe that The FOUR Foundation has great potential to make a huge difference and improve lives through their partnerships with drop4drop, War Child, the Environmental Justice Foundation and Hospitality Action.
